Scope and Purpose of the Job:
An Enterprise Sales Specialist works to improve the organization’s market position and achieve financial growth. This person defines long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development
Responsible for the development of sales initiatives and revenue of Lumata’s Telco and Enterprise Solutions for an assigned market sector given defined strategic initiatives.

  • Works with assigned accounts to provide Enterprise and Digital solutions, develop new business, and maintain positive ongoing relationships.
  • Review the current digital assets with Clients and identify area for optimizations and present a value proposition to the clients.
  • Act as a primary contact for assigned customers and liaise with internal technical/non-technical teams as required to facilitate and support the generation of revenue through the assigned customer base.
  • Provision existing and potential customers with sales proposals, marketing literature and up-to-date solutions and services in a clear, concise, comprehensive and timely manner.
  • Maintain a thorough and complete knowledge of Lumata’s existing Telco and Enterprise Solutions and new offerings.
  • Participate in pricing the solution/service.
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
  • Provide detailed tracking and status information for each sales opportunity to the management on a periodic basis.
  • Identify and coordinate any technical assistance to facilitate the requirements for customer base.
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
  • Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new Telco and Enterprise solutions and services.
  • Identify opportunities for products and services that will lead to an increase in sales volume.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • University Degree in the field of Computer Science / Electronics & Communications. A Master’s degree in Sales and Marketing is a plus.
  • At least 6 – 10 years of experience in Telco/Enterprise/Digital Sales with an excellent networking base Telcos and large enterprises.
  • Good knowledge of digital space, web, mobile, social, native ecosystems
  • Experience of working in a fast moving, complex, dynamic and technical environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technology and market trends and should be apt in identifying Customer’s challenges and needs.
  • Strong communication skills including ability to make presentations to groups of any size.
